DJ Streams: A Social & Live Streaming Platform Built for DJs
The Challenge
What Problem Were We Solving?
DJ Streams is an innovative social media platform built exclusively for DJs to connect, stream, and share their music seamlessly with a global audience. The platform combines the best of Web App Development and Mobile App Development, offering users a smooth, scalable, and engaging experience across devices.
The vision behind DJ Streams was to create an all-in-one space where DJs could not only showcase their performances but also interact with fans, collaborate with other artists, and build a strong online presence without worrying about technical challenges. Our goal was to deliver a product that blends high-end performance with a visually appealing and intuitive interface.
By leveraging a modern tech stack, we ensured DJ Streams could handle high traffic, real-time streaming, and media-rich content without compromising speed or stability.
The Solution
How We Built It
Our team handled the complete development cycle for Bayez, from concept validation and product planning through development, integration, testing, and deployment. We built a cross-platform mobile experience alongside a powerful web-based administration platform, connecting real-time IoT parking data with booking, payments, rewards, notifications, and analytics.
React Native allowed us to deliver iOS and Android applications from a shared codebase, while React and Next.js powered the web experience and admin dashboards. On the backend, Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS provided a scalable API architecture, with PostgreSQL managing core platform data. AWS infrastructure, WebSocket and MQTT communication, and Redis caching completed the foundation needed for reliable real-time parking operations.
Mobile Development
React Native powered the iOS and Android applications from a single codebase for a consistent, native-quality experience.
Web Platform
React and Next.js were used to create responsive user and administration interfaces with fast, data-driven experiences.
Backend Architecture
Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS handled APIs, business logic, real-time communication, and third-party integrations.
Real-Time IoT
MQTT and WebSocket communication connected parking sensors with the platform to deliver live availability information.
Data & Performance
PostgreSQL stored platform data while Redis caching helped improve response times for frequently accessed real-time information.
AWS Infrastructure
AWS provided secure and scalable cloud infrastructure capable of supporting growing users, transactions, and sensor data.
Key Features
What We Built
Real-Time Parking Map
Interactive maps show nearby parking locations and live space availability, with IoT sensors continuously updating occupancy information.
Instant Booking & Payments
Drivers can find an available space, reserve it, and complete cashless payments using supported cards and mobile payment options.
Loyalty & Rewards
A dedicated rewards experience allows users to earn points from parking activity and redeem available discounts and perks.
Vehicle Profile & History
Users can save vehicle details, review previous parking sessions, and access transaction history and digital receipts.
Smart Push Notifications
Automated reminders notify drivers when parking sessions are approaching their limits, helping reduce overstays and improve parking turnover.
Admin Panel & Analytics
A centralized dashboard enables administrators to manage parking zones and sensors, monitor occupancy, track transactions, process refunds, and analyze usage and revenue.

Challenges We Solved
Engineering for Live, Social Streaming
Real-Time Streaming
AWS Media Services and optimized WebSocket connections were used to deliver stable live DJ broadcasts with minimal latency and interruptions.
High Traffic Scalability
A modular NestJS architecture was designed to support horizontal scaling as more DJs and fans join the platform.
Content Security
DRM and encrypted streaming protocols help protect DJ broadcasts and platform content against unauthorized access and downloads.
Cross-Platform Experience
React Native enabled a consistent mobile experience across iOS and Android while reducing the need to maintain separate native codebases.
Future Scope
Built for What Comes Next
The modular architecture gives DJ Streams room to expand without disrupting the existing platform. Future opportunities include AI-powered music recommendations, virtual DJ collaboration rooms, event ticketing, merchandise integrations, and advanced analytics that help DJs understand audience engagement.
