DevOps Engineer
Role Overview
As a DevOps Engineers at Multisyn Tech, you will ensure our services are healthy, monitored, automated, and designed to scale. You’ll use your background as an operations generalist to work closely with our development teams from the early stages of design all the way through identifying and resolving production issues. You will support a wide range of services focusing on automation, availability and performance, and above all reliability. This is a part time (Hyrbrid) opportunity to work on global projects, influence DevOps best practices, and take ownership of mission-critical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and manage highly available CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).
- Serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, efficiency and capacity of our production environment.
- Collaboration with the development team on operations-related issues, providing support and acting as stakeholder
- Deploy and optimize multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and GCP).
- Build scalable infrastructure with IaC tools.
- Containerize and orchestrate workloads with Docker & Kubernetes.
- Integrate cloud security best practices and enforce compliance across environments.
- Automate workflows with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams for seamless release cycles.
- Troubleshoot incidents, conduct root-cause analysis, and drive reliability improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or related field.
- 2+ years of professional DevOps experience.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong command of CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices.
- Proficiency in Docker & Kubernetes (production-grade environments).
- Strong grasp of IaC (Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation).
- Scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud networking, firewalls, load balancing, and security controls.
Nice-to-Have
- Exposure to server less technologies (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
- Experience with chaos engineering and site reliability practices (SRE).
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with agile/scrum methodologies
